Country Group Forming Discipline Leader

📋 Description

• Lead and build capabilities for the Forming discipline across the country group.
• Provide Forming expertise to OI North America facilities and drive process, productivity, and
• Influence plant managers and supervisors to implement GMF best practices and improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Mold Design, Glass Science, Furnace, Quality, and Machine Repair
• Lead regional and global network meetings related to Forming discipline.
• Support startup, commissioning, and stabilization of new equipment and product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; trade/mechanical preferred
• 10+ years of experience in the technical area; strong process knowledge
• Proven leadership and ability to influence improvements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Glass plant experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Enablon experience is a plus
