Country Lead (South Africa) - CEX

📋 Description

• Develop and execute the SA country strategy, driving growth and user acquisition
• Lead online and offline marketing, including meetups, seminars, and KOL engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with local ecosystem stakeholders (KOLs, media, Web3)
• Drive localized marketing, branding, and user education to strengthen SA crypto influence
• Monitor SA market trends, regulatory changes, and competition; translate insights into growth
• Act as the key local representative, collaborating with global teams and reporting on market results

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; background in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields preferred
• 5+ years of SA market leadership, business development, or market expansion roles
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or internet platforms is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of the SA Web3 ecosystem and digital asset exchange business models
• Established local industry network in SA (projects, media, KOLs, communities, institutions)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in cross-border and multicultural teams
