Crypto Exchange - Country Lead (Japan)

📋 Description

• Develop and execute Japan country strategy to grow trading volume and users
• Lead marketing, meetups, conferences, sponsorships, and KOL/VIP engagement
• Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders (KOLs, media, projects)
• Drive localized marketing, branding and user education in the Japanese crypto ecosystem
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competition; translate into growth plans
• Collaborate with global marketing, product, BD, and compliance teams; report on core KPIs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; Finance/Economics/Marketing background preferred
• 5+ years of leadership in Japan market growth, business development, or market expansion
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or internet platforms is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of the Japanese Web3 ecosystem and digital asset exchange models
• Established local industry network in Japan (projects, media, KOLs, communities)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across cross-border teams
