Customer Service Technician

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet, video and voice networks
• Maintain and repair outside plant facilities
• Climb poles, dig and bury cable, work in utility access holes or vaults
• Follow safety rules and assist other technical personnel
• Support sales and marketing activities; direct customer-facing work
• Manage customer referrals and field service tasks as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Color vision for facilities; valid driver’s license
• Trainable in POTS/DSL installation/repair and cable splicing
• Basic computer skills; ability to work in confined spaces
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and varied hours
• Active listening, teamwork and problem-solving skills
