Cybersecurity Vulnerability Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor and evaluate newly disclosed vulnerabilities and emerging threats
• Lead and coordinate vulnerability response activities for enterprise systems, cloud environments
• Analyze vulnerabilities to understand components, attack vectors, and remediation strategies
• Review CVEs and exploit intelligence to determine risk relevance
• Partner with security, IT, and product teams to define remediation actions
• Track remediation activities through completion and communicate risks to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3–5 years in vulnerability management or related functions
• Strong experience analyzing CVEs for relevance and impact
• Understanding of vulnerability exploitation, OS, networking, and security controls
• Ability to interpret advisories, research, logs, and evidence
• Experience with Windows and Linux, cloud tech, virtualization, containers, and enterprise apps
