Data Annotation Specialist

📋 Description

• Design, automate, and run QA workflows — sampling, metrics, quality dashboards, and throughput
• Support labelling interfaces in Label Studio: configure projects, refine layouts, and improve speed
• Write clear, testable annotation guidelines and maintain project docs.
• Source, onboard and coordinate freelance annotators with AI Annotations Lead: track deadlines and
• Turn annotation output and project data into simple summaries for leads or stakeholders.
• Support data analysis and reporting to track project health and quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Comfort with data: build spreadsheet models and interpret quality metrics; light Python / pandas
• Strong written communication and structured thinking for guideline creation.
• Proven coordination of people or projects to deadlines (freelancers, vendors, crossfunctional
• Self-directed: own an area and run it largely independently.
• Fluent English, plus working fluency in Italian, Portuguese or Polish.
