Data Center Electrician

📋 Description

• Install AC and DC circuits from PDU to Customer Cabinets
• Operate electrical systems in data centers: UPS, 13.2kW transformers, 480V distribution
• Manage cooling and electrical capacity, UPS loads, and client power usage
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs; recommend fixes to prevent recurrence
• Optimize cooling and electrical distribution for PUE efficiency
• Document maintenance and update site dashboards

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or work equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in managing mission critical facilities
• Knowledge of data center ops, cooling subsystems, IT systems
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Independent with ability to achieve results
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute and GreenGrid principles
