Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and maintain data marts, materialized views, and data pipelines within an AWS hosted Data
• Design, build, and optimize data workflows and pipelines to support agency-wide analytics and
• Monitor data infrastructure health, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and data quality issues
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and agency stakeholders to scale and support new data-driven
• Support compliance with federal data security requirements including FISMA and NIST 800-53

🎯 Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale data infrastructure (AWS)
• Experience building and maintaining data marts, materialized views, or ETL/ELT pipelines
• Familiarity with AWS data services and cloud-based data infrastructure
• Experience maintaining and migrating relational database environments (PostgreSQL)
• Experience maintaining structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of data security and governance in federal environments
