Data Engineer I - Payment Lifecycle Data

📋 Description

• Embedded within the Payments Core Data organization, build foundational data products across all
• Translate business questions into technical data solutions; scope, design, build, validate data
• Develop and operate production ETL pipelines and data architectures on our Big Data Platform using
• Collaborate with software engineers, data analysts, and product owners to understand data needs and
• Write clean, well-tested code; implement testing, monitoring, and validation to keep data accurate
• Learn and modernize data workflows, adopt tooling (including AI coding tools), and apply data

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Science, Econometrics, or
• Hands-on experience through a role or internship (Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or transitioning
• Strong Python and SQL; Git workflows; CI/CD; familiarity with Airflow or dbt/Looker.
• Product mindset, curiosity, and ability to drive data products used by teams.
• Nice-to-haves: PySpark/Spark; experience with large production codebases; domain knowledge in
