Data Engineer (SQL-focused)

📋 Description

• Analyze existing SQL code, stored procedures, ETL jobs, and data transformations.
• Trace data through existing pipelines to understand data movement.
• Validate business rules within the current technical solution.
• Document current implementation, including data flows, transformations, table relationships, and
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to validate findings.
• Review data processes to confirm system behavior and identify details.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, CTEs, window functions, joins, and stored procedures.
• Experience with IBM DataStage or similar enterprise ETL tools.
• Experience analyzing ETL processes, data transformations, and relational databases.
• Understanding of data flows in enterprise data platforms and ETL pipelines.
• Ability to analyze existing implementations rather than only building new ones.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and table relationships.
