Data Replication Engineer – Stelo/StarQuest

📋 Description

• Install, configure, maintain, and manage SQDR and SQDR Plus environments.
• Implement CDC processes per source-system needs.
• Design replication topologies: one-to-one, hub-and-spoke, fan-out.
• Configure replication jobs, agents, services, and web consoles.
• Establish failover and load-balancing for resilience.
• Troubleshoot replication failures and performance bottlenecks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Info Systems or equivalent exp.
• 3+ years in data replication or related tech role.
• Strong experience with SQDR and SQDR Plus (installation, config, admin).
• Understanding of Change Data Capture concepts and log mining.
• Experience with DB2 LUW/zOS, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
• Familiarity with ODBC/JDBC connectivity and Oracle LogMiner/DB2 capture.
