Data Scientist, Finance Forecasting

📋 Description

• Own core forecasting work for Finance & Accounting, including production revenue forecasts or
• Build backtesting and accuracy tracking; establish a cross-methodology accuracy baseline as a
• Contribute to research direction: event-aware forecast architectures, hierarchical reconciliation
• Translate model output into clear recommendations for Finance and executives
• Partner with Analytics Engineer on feature pipelines, model deployment, and forecast store

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial experience in data science, forecasting, or quantitative finance; production ownership
• Fluent in Python and SQL; comfortable productionizing work
• Strong applied statistics in production time-series or causal inference (e.g., Prophet/ETS/ARIMA
• Experience building backtesting and accuracy-tracking; models scored publicly
• Ability to present and defend forecasts to executives
• Bias for action; thrives in ambiguous, early-stage environments
