📋 Description

• Partner with business/tech to build reliable, scalable data platforms.
• Take primary ownership of the Databricks platform: admin, governance, entitlements, optimisation
• Manage Databricks workspaces, users, access controls, and platform configuration.
• Build cloud-native data solutions on AWS and support production systems.
• Ensure solutions are production-ready: secure, tested, observable, and cost-efficient.
• Design and operate batch and streaming data pipelines for analytics and AI at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in hands-on data/platform engineering roles.
• Strong Databricks expertise: admin, governance, performance optimisation, operations.
• Hands-on experience managing Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, notebooks, and Spark workloads.
• Experience at scale with Databricks platform operations.
• 2+ Databricks platform implementations from design to production in the last 4 years.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, and SQL; solid SQL capability.
