Deployed Engineer (Chicago)

📋 Description

• Hands-on, highly technical role building production AI agents in real-world deployments
• Co-architect and co-build production AI agents with customer teams
• Own technical win in pre-sales, design POCs, and guide evaluations
• Help customers deploy and operate agent-based applications (conversational, research, multi-step
• Advise post-sale on architecture, best practices, and roadmap decisions
• Travel to customers up to 40% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in a relevant technical role (software engineering, customer engineering, solutions
• Strong Python and JavaScript skills; solid systems fundamentals
• Experience designing agent-based or LLM-powered apps with multi-step workflows
• Comfort working directly with customers during POCs and architecture reviews
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly and build trust with developers
• Bias toward action; capable of owning outcomes
