📋 Description

• The Deputy Editor will manage high-impact editorial activities by applying scientific expertise
• Independent ownership of manuscript evaluation, content strategy, stakeholder collaboration, and
• Review submitted manuscripts for quality, relevance, originality, and scope alignment.
• Manage full peer review, including reviewer selection, invitations, feedback evaluation, and
• Make publication decisions: acceptance, rejection, revisions, and transfers.
• Identify and escalate ethics, integrity, or compliance concerns per procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in AI, Intelligent Systems, CS, or related field.
• Proven experience in academic publishing or scholarly content management.
• Strong understanding of peer review, ethics, and research integrity.
• Subject-matter expertise in a relevant scientific domain.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple manuscripts and deadlines independently.
