Design Director, Platform UI

📋 Description

• Own the visual interface layer of platform engagements in production.
• Architect and govern design systems and component libraries.
• Drive visual design quality across typography, color, spacing, motion.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform architects as a peer.
• Partner with Experience Strategy as upstream collaborator and translate work.
• Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) in every component/pattern.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in digital product/UI/visual design; 3+ yrs in product/platform/B2B SaaS.
• Leadership experience with direct people management of designers.
• Portfolio of shipped product interfaces; design system thinking.
• Experience with enterprise platforms, B2B SaaS, MarTech, or regulated environments.
• Mastery of Figma; familiarity with Storybook/Zeroheight docs.
• WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility fluency; Adobe CS is a plus.
