Detection Engineering & Automation Lead

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the Detection Engineering & Automation team
• Own the full detection engineering lifecycle: use-case design to retirement
• Develop and maintain SIEM/EDR detection rules and automation playbooks
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Incident Response, and engineering teams
• Align detection logic with attacker techniques and incident response
• Establish documentation, validation processes, and testing standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, Info Security, or related field
• 5+ years in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, or Security Automation; 2+ years in
• Experience leading technical security teams
• Hands-on with Sigma, YARA, SIEM rules, and detection-as-code
• Experience with SOAR playbooks and Python or similar scripting
• Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, EDR, cloud, identity, telemetry, IR processes
