Detection Engineering & Automation Lead

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the Detection Engineering & Automation team, setting priorities and driving
• Own the full detection engineering lifecycle from use-case design to retirement of content.
• Develop and maintain SIEM and EDR detection rules, detection-as-code pipelines, and SOAR playbooks.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Incident Response, Cyber Defense, and engineering teams to
• Align detection logic with attacker techniques, assets, telemetry sources, and incident response
• Establish documentation, ownership, validation processes, and testing standards for detections

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, Info Security, or related field (preferred).
• At least 5 years in Security Operations, Detection Engineering, Threat Detection, or Security
• Experience leading or mentoring technical security teams.
• Hands-on expertise creating and tuning detections using Sigma, YARA, SIEM rules, and
• Experience developing SOAR playbooks and security integrations using Python or similar.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, EDR, cloud, identity, and network telemetry; familiarity
