Diesel Mechanic

📋 Description

• Consult customer and read work orders to evaluate tasks
• Prepare work plans after scoping issues
• Run diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpret results
• Inspect vehicle systems including suspensions, steering and exhausts
• Repair or replace transmissions, brakes, engines, and other parts
• Conduct field visits for emergencies or breakdowns

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years diesel or heavy equipment maintenance/repair experience
• Advanced knowledge of vehicle electrical system and diesel engine mechanisms
• In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components
• Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment
• Comfortable using mechanical and electrical power tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
