Digital Forensics Lead (CBP)

📋 Description

• Lead digital forensics for CBP program; preserve, analyze evidence, reconstruct events
• Produce findings for incident response, threat hunt, insider threat monitoring
• Ensure chain of custody and defensible processes for admissibility
• Collaborate with incident response, legal, and leadership teams
• Hybrid work arrangement in Ashburn, VA

🎯 Requirements

• Active CBP Background Investigation (CBP BI) and EOD strongly preferred
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience leading digital forensic investigations in federal or highly regulated environments
• Ability to deliver findings to non-technical audiences (legal, HR, leadership)
• Active CBP BI, DoD clearance, or fitness determination preferred to shorten start date
• Certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, or EnCE are valuable
