Direct Commodity Buyer – Powertrain components

📋 Description

• Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies for powertrain components.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, on-time delivery and cost control.
• Lead sourcing activities: supplier selection, tendering, negotiation, and contract placement.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, and delivery.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise the supply chain.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in Purchasing, Procurement, Commodity Management, Supply Chain or Commercial roles.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and supporting sourcing activities.
• Strong commercial sense balancing cost, quality, delivery and risk.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Analytical, data-driven decision making; able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); able to communicate to technical and
