Direct Support Professional (DSP)

📋 Description

• Coach and mentor individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD)
• Engage individuals through workshop activities to enhance skills (music, art, games, reading, AV
• Teach daily life skills (cooking, money management, volunteering) to foster independence
• Lead outings/workshops and engage individuals in activities
• Assist with personal care and behavioral interventions daily
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

🎯 Requirements

• 6 months+ experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company van
• Comfortable providing personal care and behavioral support
• Compassion, patience, professionalism

🎁 Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $21.75/hour
• Full Range Scale: $21.75 - $24.25 per hour (starting rate fixed at $21.75; increases with tenure)
• Part-time schedule: Monday – Friday, weekends off
