Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Provide direct support and instruction to individuals with I/DD.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dress, bath, grooming, toileting, eating).
• Prepare meals and snacks; light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance; may operate lift devices.
• Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate behaviors as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with I/DD preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attend two weeks of paid in-house orientation and training.
• Passion for person-centered care.
• Dependable, adaptable, and flexible.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
