Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Provide direct support to individuals with I/DD to ensure health, safety, and achievement of
• Offer companionship, encourage independence, and support daily living activities
• Assist with dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, meals, and light housekeeping
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including use of lift devices
• Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors
• Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience supporting individuals with I/DD preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training
• Passion for person-centered care
• Dependable, adaptable, and flexible
• Good communication; writing and reading are important for documenting care and coordinating with
