Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Supported/Community Living Program

📋 Description

• The Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Supported/Community Living Program will work 1:1 with
• Provide transportation to community events, hobbies, appointments, shopping trips, and other
• Assist with household duties including cleaning, laundry, meal prep, budgeting and routines.
• Enrich and support the lives of the persons served while maintaining a safe environment.
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and community-based supports.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle required for the Community Living Support
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities OR customer service
• Ability to work independently and problem solve without direct supervision.
• Dependable, adaptable, flexible; strong reading, writing, and communication skills for
• Maintain professional demeanor in interactions with persons served and families.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide references.
