Direct Support Professional/Youth Caregiver - Part-Time

📋 Description

• Provide direct support and instruction to children, teens, and young adults (ages 12-21) with I/DD.
• Ensure health, safety, and achievement of service objectives.
• Enrich and support residents' lives in a safe, healthy environment.
• Offer companionship and encourage independence and self-care.
• Assist with daily living activities: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Prepare meals and snacks for residents.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma, transcript, or GED.
• 6 months of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations (ex. caregiver, nanny
• Good communication for documenting care, following plans, and collaborating with teams.
• Valid driver's license (due to transporting persons served).
• Able to attend three weeks of paid training Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
