Director, Corporate Actions

📋 Description

• Lead Alpaca’s Corporate Actions across mandatory and voluntary events globally.
• Own supervisory framework, controls, and evidence of review.
• Ensure timely, accurate processing with proper checks; manage incidents end-to-end.
• Partner across Security Master, Trading, Ledger, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Drive automation, observability, and tooling to scale operations.
• Build a unified global operating model across markets and custodians.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Corporate Actions within broker-dealer, custodian, bank, or similar.
• Prior leadership in corporate actions or securities operations.
• Deep knowledge of mandatory/voluntary actions (dividends, splits, mergers, etc.).
• Strong understanding of U.S. market infrastructure (DTCC/DTC).
• International corporate actions experience across markets/currencies.
• Experience mapping actions through broker-dealer books, positions, and customer balances.
