Director, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Architect the data foundation across pipelines, warehouse, and models.
• Own data lifecycle end-to-end from ingestion to delivery.
• Lead data observability, SLA-driven quality, and platform reliability.
• Mentor a distributed data engineering team (domestic and offshore).
• Collaborate with Analytics & Data Science to align platform investments.
• Drive architectural discipline and design reviews to scale the platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering/platform domains; 4+ years leading teams.
• Hands-on with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift; DAG-based orchestration (Dagster/Airflow).
• Expert dbt proficiency; semantic layer experience with BI tools.
• Strong SQL and Python; advanced dimensional modeling and CI/CD in dbt.
• HIPAA experience and governance for PHI data; healthcare data handling.
• Strategic partner to Analytics & Data Science; able to translate business needs into roadmaps.
