📋 Description

• Lead GenAI initiatives in Portugal, driving multi-quarter AI strategy and aligning with business
• Oversee design, evaluation, and production deployment of LLM-based systems (RAG, tool-use, memory
• Build and mentor a senior/principal-level science team, partnering with Product, Engineering, and
• Balance frontier research with reliable product delivery and cost/latency optimization.
• Establish rigorous offline/online evals, ensuring safety and quality for users.
• Drive LLMOps maturity across deployment, monitoring, and performance management.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years leading DS/ML teams in production environments with GenAI or large-scale ML products.
• Hands-on expert in modern generative AI, LLM architectures, and production deployment at scale.
• Strong Python background with PyTorch and TensorFlow; solid MLOps/LLMOps knowledge in cloud.
• Strategic communicator who can secure exec buy-in and influence across functions/geographies.
• Working knowledge of classical ML approaches and ability to choose simpler interpretable methods
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus for Brazil collaboration.
