📋 Description

• Oversee software engineering across device products: field ops tooling, exam-room tech
• Lead a mix of senior Leads and IC engineers; own hiring, performance, and career growth.
• Hands-on role: contribute to architecture and code in Android ROM, AWS IoT, and JS/React front-ends.
• Champion AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices across teams.
• Coordinate with architecture reviews (ARB/RFC) and other stakeholders.
• Represent device product areas in cross-org discussions and trade-offs.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years software engineering, 4+ years leading teams across multiple product areas.
• Experience managing blended teams (onshore/offshore) and hiring/performance management.
• Hands-on Android/BrightSign device experience; familiarity with IoT tooling and architecture.
• Strong frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend (Kotlin/HTTP4k, Node/serverless) knowledge.
• Proven AI/SDLC experience and security awareness in distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field.
