Director, Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead a multi-team engineering organization building and sustaining OT cybersecurity products
• Report to the VP of Engineering; manage 4+ engineering managers and a total org of 35–50 people.
• Own discipline-based communities (frontend, backend, data, AI) and staff cross-functional product
• Drive department-wide improvements in engineering standards, delivery practices, and tooling.
• Collaborate with product directors to staff and support cross-functional teams and resolve
• Coach engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable software.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years leading software engineering teams, including 3+ years managing managers
• Experience leading an engineering org of 20+ people across multiple teams
• Strong background across frontend and backend architecture; fluent in AI development tooling and
• Cybersecurity experience in a product company shipping commercial software
• Excellent written and verbal communication for exec updates, negotiations, and technical reviews
• Experience supporting agile, cross-functional teams pairing engineering with product management
