Director, Execution Operations

📋 Description

• Hybrid role; on-site in San Jose, CA three days a week.
• Deputy to the SVP, drive operational excellence and organizational maturity across Mission
• Lead two personas: Operator (75%) for execution/process; Ambassador (25%) for
• Build operating systems to scale multiple complex programs within new IPT model.
• Own operating cadence, OKR process, and scalable systems to remove bottlenecks.
• Spearhead high-impact, ambiguous initiatives (org design, staffing, tooling, vendor strategy).

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in demanding roles such as engineering program management, technical operations, or
• Technical depth to evaluate roadmaps, dependencies, debt, and speed-vs-scale trade-offs.
• Ability to translate strategy into scalable, repeatable processes with measurable results.
• Operational acumen to diagnose challenges and build growth-infrastructure.
• High EI and influence without formal authority; trusted advisor to senior tech leaders.
• Outstanding communication to convey complex concepts to engineers and executives.
