Director, Facilities and Lab Operations (Contract)

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day lab and office operations in SF and Seattle; light London oversight.
• Ensure safe, efficient, compliant spaces that support science work.
• Collaborate with researchers, ops, and leadership to evolve infrastructure.
• Coordinate space expansion projects with external partners.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and inventory.
• Support transitions of office and lab spaces with minimal disruption.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in life sciences, engineering, or related field.
• 8–10+ years in lab and facilities operations (biotech preferred).
• Experience with space planning and expansions with external teams.
• Strong EH&S and lab safety knowledge; facilities systems expertise.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, resourceful approach in a fast-paced environment.
