Director, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) – SLED & FedCIV

📋 Description

• Lead FDE for Public Sector (SLED & FedCIV) with Databricks solutions.
• Partner with customers to democratize data and AI in government contexts.
• Manage a team of Delivery & Engagement Managers and Technical Program Managers.
• Collaborate with GTM and account teams on discovery, scoping, and contracting for FDE services.
• Own P&L for the segment and drive strategy to meet business goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Clearance: ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Secret clearance.
• Leadership: 5+ years leader experience with 20+ people managed over 10+ years.
• Domain: enterprise software pre-sales or professional services in a high-growth setting.
• Deal execution: track record of large transactions and delivering customer value.
• Ecosystem building: strong cross-functional partnerships across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Education: BS in CS, IS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
