Director, Model Engineering & Operations

📋 Description

• Lead design, deployment, and optimization of AI/ML solutions for healthcare.
• Own end-to-end MLOps lifecycle: feature store, training, CI/CD, retraining, prod ops.
• Establish model monitoring, drift, fairness, and champion-challenger approaches.
• Guide responsible adoption of generative AI and LLMs for analytics and automation.
• Define standards, reusable components, and patterns to accelerate AI delivery.
• Partner with security/compliance to meet regulatory requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/Engineering (required); Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in software/ML engineering; 5+ years of leadership.
• Proven experience productionizing ML at scale (CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, retraining).
• Experience in regulated healthcare/PHI environments (HIPAA knowledge).
• Hands-on with Databricks/Delta Lake, Spark, Python, SQL.
• Cloud infra experience, preferably Azure; IaC practices; strong communication.
