Director of Compliance

📋 Description

• Develop and implement Fliff's compliance program across gaming, DFS, and prediction markets.
• Own regulatory, market, and credit risk profiles for prediction market licensing.
• Lead CFTC and prediction market compliance; structure event contracts and market rules.
• Manage regulatory filings, licensing renewals, audits, and regulator examinations.
• Ensure FTC/privacy compliance; oversee marketing, disclosures, and consumer protections.
• Oversee AML, CFT, fraud prevention, and KYC; partner on investigations with security/ops.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in compliance/legal/regulatory roles in gaming, fintech, prediction markets.
• Active JD and bar license in at least one US jurisdiction preferred.
• Direct experience with CEA, CFTC, NFA rules and event contracts.
• Experience navigating FTC guidelines, advertising compliance, and consumer protection.
• Experience building or maintaining a compliance program in a fast startup.
• Strong analytical and project management skills; translate regs into guidance.
