Director of Data Science Production Engineering, Extended-Hours Support

📋 Description

• Direct and mentor a team of 10+ ExHS data science support engineers and analysts providing coverage
• Enforce operating procedures for compliance, quality, and efficiency.
• Measure, report, and continuously improve team operational effectiveness.
• Lead the team during critical production incidents or emergency events during and outside standard

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or
• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience with a Master’s degree (or minimum 4 years with a
• Minimum 3 years in a highly regulated environment (CLIA and/or FDA).
• Minimum 3 years of management experience leading 7-20 engineers/analysts in production support or
• Working knowledge of diagnostic lab processes and genomic/bioinformatics tech.
• Proficient in data analysis, Python and SQL development.
