Director of Engineering, Organizations & Cells

📋 Description

• Lead the engineering organization for Cells and Organizations across multiple teams and regions.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives impacting product, infrastructure, and security.
• Scale multi-tenant, cell-based architecture and data residency capabilities.
• Own onboarding, hiring, and development of managers and senior ICs.
• Collaborate asynchronously with teams across time zones to set priorities and cadence.

🎯 Requirements

• Director-level engineering leadership with 25–60+ engineers managed via managers.
• Proven track record delivering multi-quarter infrastructure programs with external dependencies.
• Experience with distributed systems, multi-cloud, and multi-region architectures.
• Strong relational database scaling, data migration at scale, and large-scale incident management.
• Ability to work as a peer to VPs and senior engineers; strong written communication.
