Director of Major Gifts & Individual Giving

📋 Description

• Lead and grow KIPP Chicago’s individual giving program within the 25th Anniversary Campaign.
• Manage a portfolio of 100–150 major gift prospects with regular, meaningful engagement.
• Develop and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for high-net-worth donors.
• Collaborate with CEO, leadership, board, volunteers, and campaign team on donor strategies and
• Oversee data and reporting in the CRM; track moves, proposals, and revenue against goals.
• Plan events and donor experiences that align with campaign objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years fundraising, focusing on individual/major gifts.
• Ability to work daily in Chicago, in-office and in the field, including weekend/evening events when
• Proven success securing mid-to-high five-figure gifts; six-figure gifts and multi-year commitments
• Experience managing major gift portfolios, moves management, and revenue forecasting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with high-net-worth donors.
