Director of Operational Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead global strategy and day-to-day accounting ops: AP, P2P, T&E, Payroll, AR, Billing, O2C.
• Direct high-volume AP processing, vendor onboarding, payments, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Partner with Procurement/SC to SLAs, cash flow forecasting, and working capital.
• Oversee payroll across multi-state and international operations.
• Lead AR and Billing across D2C, subscriptions, B2B, and retail channels.
• Own tech roadmap across ERP, billing, payroll, and spend platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in accounting/finance ops, 5+ in senior leadership (AP/P2P, AR/O2C).
• Bachelor in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• Experience with fast-growing D2C, SaaS, or subscription models.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, multi-state payroll, credit risk, vendor compliance.
• Strong ERP/financial systems: NetSuite, Workday; billing platforms like Stripe/Zuora/Recurly.
• Experience with Zip, Ramp, ADP, Zendesk; led enterprise system implementations.
