Director of R&D and Strategic Finance

📋 Description

• Finance partner to R&D leadership (Engineering, Product, Strategy)
• Own budget management for R&D orgs; build financial models and analyses
• Support data-driven decisions aligned to multi-year plan
• Executive exposure: contribute to product strategy, partnerships, pricing, and marketing strategy
• Lead a small team supporting budgeting and project execution across R&D
• Provide high-quality analyses for COO, CFO, CTO, and other executives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance
• 8+ years in strategic/corporate finance, investment banking, or high-growth tech company
• Experience leveraging AI to automate processes
• Experience partnering with R&D or GTM teams in technology/SaaS
• Strong problem solving, communication, and ability to operate with ambiguity
