Director of Reinsurance and Capacity

📋 Description

• Secure capacity to enable rapid scaling with good loss ratios
• Lead renewal of reinsurance programs and capacity contracts
• Manage day-to-day interactions with capacity partners
• Drive development of a partner portal for best-in-class experience
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, product, actuarial, and finance
• Own enterprise projects to improve operations

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in reinsurance (underwriter, broker, or carrier/MGA)
• Knowledge of property insurance, forecasting, catastrophe modeling
• Nice to have: ARe and/or CFA
• Self-driven; able to handle large workload with minimal oversight
• Strong communication with senior executives
• Project management experience; ability to close deals
