Director, Product Design

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of product designers across multiple pods.
• Partner with VP of Design on strategy and org design.
• Set craft bar across the platform: interaction, visuals, design systems.
• Define how product design operates with AI tools and AI-driven product experiences.
• Influence product strategy through user insights (fundraisers and donors).
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Brand, and leadership to align outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with 3–5 years managing other designers.
• Strong portfolio across complex, multi-surface environments with impact.
• Proven ability to develop designers and build team culture.
• Deep craft sensibility across interaction, visual, and design systems.
• Experience partnering with Product/Engineering leadership to influence roadmap.
• Strong prioritization and communication skills; executive storytelling ability.
