Director, R&D - Formulation & Tech Transfer

📋 Description

• Lead formulation design, development, optimization, and scale-up for cosmetic/OTC skincare products.
• Direct technical transfer to Manufacturing to ensure successful commercial production.
• Drive strategic R&D initiatives aligned with business goals and market trends.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, Marketing, and suppliers.
• Oversee prototype development, stability testing, and product performance evaluation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 10+ years’ formulation/product development experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing R&D teams.
• Strong knowledge of formulation science, process development, scale-up, and commercialization.
• Experience in regulated environments; familiarity with DOE, stability studies, risk assessment
