Director, Site Reliability Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead the unified SRE and Security Engineering org from Dublin, building a world-class team.
• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for platform reliability and security.
• Own availability, latency, performance, and capacity planning for Klaviyo’s global platform.
• Embed security and reliability principles into the software development lifecycle.
• Drive automation and self-service tooling to move fast with high quality.
• Ensure GDPR and international data protection compliance in technical controls.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership (SRE/DevOps/Security).
• Proven experience building/scaling engineering teams, ideally establishing a new team/office.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud-native systems (AWS preferred).
• Strong background in distributed systems, observability, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Experience leading modern security engineering (application security, vulnerability management
• Experience managing globally distributed teams across time zones.
