📋 Description

• Lead medical communications strategy across molecules and disease states.
• Drive content development, education, and awareness initiatives.
• Oversee insight collections, publications, platforms, congress plans, and digital comms.
• Build and shape the medical affairs function within the company.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute core deliverables.
• Hybrid in San Diego, CA or South San Francisco, CA or remote anywhere in the US.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) preferred; significant field experience may substitute.
• 7+ years in pharma/medical communications with 3+ years in medical affairs.
• Strong scientific acumen; experience in GI or lung cancers preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to build trust with partners.
• Agility to work across diverse therapeutic areas in a fast-paced biotech.
• 20-30% domestic/international travel; budget and vendor management experience.
