Economic and Data Analyst

📋 Description

• Deliver economic and data analyses to inform low-carbon policy and investment decisions.
• Work within the Strategy and Energy Consulting Team on client accounts in energy transition areas
• Collaborate with policy makers, industry leaders, and boards to shape recommendations.
• Develop evidence-based numerical analyses and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to Talan’s data capabilities and infrastructure and develop into a trusted client
• Hybrid work arrangement with office time in London or Birmingham.

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate/postgraduate degree in data-related field (Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics
• Strong numerical and analytical ability; ability to structure complex problems.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
• Collaborative, team-oriented; ability to build relationships across levels.
• Modelling skills with MS Excel; Python or other data analysis skills; willingness to learn Rust and
• Understanding of economics/econometrics; ability to learn new programming languages and tools.
