📋 Description

• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams and electrical codes for wiring layouts.
• Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
• Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment.
• Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and control panels.
• Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures to form circuits.
• Test circuit continuity with equipment for safe installation or repair.
• Troubleshoot and replace faults in electrical/electronic systems.
• Connect power to audio/visual, signaling, heating and cooling systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a four- to five-year apprenticeship program is required.
• A minimum of two or three years of experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and tools.
