Employment and Commercial Counsel

📋 Description

• Lead attorney for employment matters across the business.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with designers, sponsors, tech partners, and agencies.
• Collaborate with Legal team to build templates, policies, and legal tech stack.
• Advise on business initiatives and strategic questions across teams.
• Develop training materials and partner resources for the business.
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based counseling to support growth and manage legal risk.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and NY bar membership or eligibility to register as in-house attorney in NY.
• 4+ years of practice, including 2+ years employment law and 2+ years in-house.
• Experience drafting/negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong ability to translate legal issues into clear business guidance.
• Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple critical projects.
• Familiarity with marketing/advertising, tech/ecommerce, or contract lifecycle management is a plus.
