Employment Counsel

📋 Description

• Provide SME on employment issues (recruitment, hiring, leaves, wage/hour)
• Lead HR compliance, investigations, and audits
• Draft and review policies with HR to ensure compliance
• Deliver training on employment law to internal teams
• Manage employment litigation and regulatory matters (EEOC/DFEH)
• Provide global employment law support with local Legal and HR

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and CA bar admission, or ability to gain in-house status within 90 days
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in CA and federal employment law (firm+in-house)
• Medical device/pharma/regulated industry experience desired
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• High accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
